We’re Hiring! Join Our Team as an In-House Bookkeeper

At McCarty Squared Inc., we craft turnkey, high-detail residential renovations, historical restorations, and custom builds. Behind every beautiful space we create is a solid foundation of careful planning, organization, and precise financial tracking.

We are looking for a skilled, organized In-House Bookkeeper to join us at our studio in London, Ontario. In this role, you will work right alongside our management team to keep project accounts running perfectly. You will also play a key role in onboarding our employees with payroll and training them on Houzz Pro and Workforce. This helps our project managers get accurate, real-time access to project costing out in the field.

What You Will Do:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Take full charge of invoicing our clients, tracking incoming payments, managing vendor bills, and scheduling subcontractor payments using QuickBooks.
• Team Onboarding & Tech Support: Guide our employees through the payroll onboarding process. Set them up on Houzz Pro and Workforce so their hours and field data sync seamlessly.
• Empower Our Project Managers: Ensure field data flows smoothly into our systems so project managers have instant, real-time access to actual project costs.
• Support the Studio: Reconcile bank accounts, assist with government filings (like HST), and prepare monthly financial reports for the owners.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (experience in residential construction or renovations is a major plus!).
• Strong experience managing full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  Robust, hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Familiarity or experience with Houzz Pro and Workforce (or similar time-tracking/project platforms) is a huge asset.
• Great people skills for onboarding employees and collaborating with management.
• Willingness to complete standard background checks.
